                                                                                                 PLEASE NOTE
Masks are now OPTIONAL.  Class size will be limited to 9 children and they will work in groups of 3 with 2 adults supervising.  Once you have registered, you will be sent an email confirmation as well as a registration form so that you can provide needed information about your child(ren).  Once completed, they can be emailed back to Sprouting Chefs, and will be kept on file. You will only need to complete these forms once per child as long as information remains current.

Sunday, May 1st from 2-5 pm
Classic Desserts - We'll focus on two spectacular classic desserts, Pavlovas and Cream Puffs. Baked Meringues and freshly whipped cream, combined with fresh berries and homemade Raspberry Coulis will result in mini Pavlovas. We'll also learn the technique of making choux pastry and filling them with crème pâtissière (pastry cream) to create traditional mini Cream Puffs drizzled with Chocolate Ganache. With these two desserts under your belt, you might be eligible for The Great British Baking Show!

Sunday, May 22nd from 2-5 pm
Sunday Dinner - ​This menu is a mix of some of my childhood favorites! Our entree will consist of Lemon Chicken (the dish I always requested for my birthday when I was a kid), Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes and Pan-Seared Broccoli. Fresh Pineapple Upside-Down Cake will be the end to a delicious meal.

Today's menu will include Creamy Cheese Pasta with Smoked Ham and Peas (your own Alfredo Sauce!), a Tex-Mex Taco Bowl Salad with Homemade Ranch Dressing and a variety of Panini Sandwiches. All worth repeating during the summer days to come!

Bountiful Breakfasts
It's true that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so let's prepare some delicious ones. Mixed Berry Parfait with Cranberry Coconut Granola, Ham & Vegetable Strata and Pancakes topped with Mixed Berries and real Maple Syrup – all of these will get you off to a great start in the morning. ​

Tea Time Treats
​
High Teas are a mix of sweet and savory. In this class, you'll prepare Blueberry Buttermilk Scones, fresh Lemon Curd, Cucumber Finger Sandwiches and an assortment of Chocolate Covered Fruit, both fresh and dried. Let Tea Time begin!

Sweet & Savory Puff Pastry Creations

Puff Pastry is so versatile and elegant. We'll create an array of delicious treats including Fruit-filled Pinwheels, Egg & Spinach Tarts, classic Palmiers and Pull-Apart Seasoned Rolls.

Sweet Treats
​
Sweet treats are not only delicious but can be nutritious, too, with the addition of quality ingredients like fresh ginger, mixed fresh berries and banana & zucchini. In this class, we'll prepare Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins, Chewy Fresh Ginger Cookies and bite-sized Mixed Berry Tarts with homemade dark chocolate pudding.

Saturday, July 30th from 10 am to 1 pm
It'll be SLOPPY, but WORTH IT!!
Sloppy Joes is just that - S L O P P Y ! But served atop homemade hamburger buns straight out of the oven and topped with a crunchy Creamy Coleslaw? It will be worth it! To keep us chilled during these hot summer days, we'll end our meal with a Chocolate-Covered Banana Pop.           Ages 10+ welcome.

We'll make an assortment of tasty Latin-inspired treats including Roasted Corn & Tomato Relish, Guatemalan Refried Black Beans, Avocado & Mango Salsa, freshly made Corn Tortillas made from our own masa and Churros, the traditional mouth-watering Mexican fried treat.    This is a NUT FREE class.

Fruit Fest

The abundance of summer fruit makes for wonderful sweet treats. Today's menu will include individual Rustic Mixed Berry & Peach Tarts, a fresh Blueberry Buckle and a Vanilla Yogurt Bark topped with Mixed Berries. If time allows, we'll quench our thirst with freshly made Watermelon-Lemonade.

American Classics with a Twist
We'll "spice up" some of our traditional American favorites, preparing Meatloaf with Balsamic Glaze, freshly harvested Roasted Corn on the Cob (2 styles) and Roasted Peach & Blueberry Compote served with Vanilla Ice Cream.

All Things Tasty!
What do Turkey Meatballs, Garden Tomato Sauce served atop local Al Dente Pasta and traditional Italian Tiramisu all have in common? They are super TASTY and all together will make for a delicious meal. Hope you'll join me for this "fresh-from-the-garden" cooking class.  This is a NUT FREE class.

As we enjoy our last week of summer vacation, let's gather to prepare a delicious dinner sure to satisfy everyone's appetite. We'll include warm Skillet Rolls, Traditional Baked Beans, Roasted Corn with a Lime-Garlic Butter and Seared Pork Tenderloin.

Duo Leader TS Summit - 
What better way to unwind after a day in a conference? The leaders of Duo will gather to prepare these delicious dishes...... Vietnamese Spring Rolls with a Hoisin-Peanut Dipping Sauce, Roasted Red Pepper Pesto tossed with Al Dente Spinach Farfalletti Noodles, Dark Chocolate Bites and two refreshing beverages - Vegan Mango Lassi and Fresh Ginger Pineapple Juice.  A tasty way to end the day!

Amazing Appetizers - Troop #60136
Cooking and earning a Girl Scout Badge all in one!  We'll make a variety of tasty appetizers originating from different parts of the world, including Baked Southwest Egg Rolls, Baked Mozzarella Sticks served with a tangy Marinara Sauce and Korean inspired Pork Dumplings with a Ginger-Soy Dipping Sauce.

Cinnamon Delights - Troop #76771
​
Cooking and earning a Girl Scout Badge all in one!  Apart from deliciously sticky Homemade Cinnamon Rolls with a Vanilla Glaze, we'll also prepare Apricot-Cinnamon Scones and Caramelized Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pineapple served with a side of Vanilla Ice Cream.   Earning a badge can be fun & delicious!!
