​ Lil' Sprouts

Lil’ Sprouts (Ages 5–8); $45 per child
Each Lil’ Sprouts class begins with a fun storybook or theme that inspires the day’s recipe. During this 2-hour, hands-on session, young chefs learn beginner cooking skills such as safe knife skills, measuring and mixing, following directions, basic kitchen safety, and exploring new ingredients. Lil’ Sprouts blends storytelling with cooking to spark imagination and help kids enjoy making food from scratch.
Classes are offered once a month on Sunday afternoons from 2–4 PM—the perfect time for creativity, confidence-building, and kitchen fun!

Sunday, January 25th from 2pm to 4pm, for ages 5-8
Lil' Sprouts - Snowflakes Sugar Cookies.             SOLD OUT!
​Bundle up for a winter baking adventure! Inspired by The Snowy Day, our Lil’ Sprouts will begin with a cozy storytime before heading into the kitchen to make their own Snowflake Sugar Cookies. Kids will roll dough, cut out whimsical snowflake shapes, and decorate them with sparkling icing and winter-themed toppings.This class introduces beginner baking skills such as measuring, mixing, dough handling, and simple decorating. Your Lil’ Sprout will head home with beautifully designed cookies—perfect for celebrating a snowy day!

Lil' Sprouts - Rainbow Sprinkle Muffins              3 spots available
​Step into a magical world of color and imagination! In this whimsical Unicorn Adventures class, our Lil’ Sprouts will begin with a reading of Uni the Unicorn, a heartwarming story about believing in the impossible and discovering the magic all around us. Inspired by Uni’s bright, beautiful world, young chefs will learn how to bake their very own Rainbow Sprinkle Muffins—soft, vanilla muffins bursting with cheerful colors and sparkly sprinkles.

Lil' Sprouts - Jack and the Leprechaun – Lucky Shamrock Quesadillas

Celebrate the magic of March with this festive, story-inspired cooking adventure! After reading Jack and the Leprechaun, our Lil’ Sprouts will head into the kitchen to make Lucky Shamrock Quesadillas. Young chefs will build and cook their own cheesy quesadillas using wholesome spinach tortillas, then cut them into fun shamrock shapes for a kid-approved treat. Your Lil’ Sprout will leave with new kitchen confidence, a delicious themed snack, and a touch of March magic!

Lil’ Sprouts: Somebody Loves You, Mr. Hatch           9 spots available
This sweet, story-inspired class celebrates kindness, friendship, and the joy of baking! After reading Somebody Loves You, Mr. Hatch, our Lil’ Sprouts will make adorable Heart-Shaped Berry Hand Pies. Young chefs will roll dough, cut heart shapes, add a simple berry filling, and seal their pies before baking them to golden perfection. This class introduces beginner baking skills like measuring, rolling dough, safe cutting, and pastry assembly. Kids leave with warm berry hand pies, a recipe to share at home, and a gentle reminder that small acts of kindness matter.

Afterschool Culinary Program

Classes will be offered on Thursdays 4:30-5:30 pm  Ages: 10+
Dates: 2/5, 2/12, 2/19, 2/26, 3/5 & 3/12             4 spots available

In this hands-on after-school series, Sprouting Chefs learn essential kitchen skills while creating a new recipe each week. Students will explore roasting and knife skills, emulsions and homemade salad dressing, marinades, and stir-fry technique. The final two sessions focus on pie-making—first creating a flaky scratch-made crust, then preparing the filling and baking the finished pie.
This program builds confidence, technique, and a love for cooking one skill at a time!

In Sweet & Simple Bakes, kids will learn foundational baking skills while creating three delicious recipes from scratch: Lemon Poppyseed Muffins with Lemon Icing – Bright, zesty, and topped with a sweet drizzle; Classic Banana Bread – Soft, comforting, and perfectly golden; Rainbow Chip Sprinkle Scones – A colorful twist on a bakery favorite, filled with cheerful sprinkles.

Brunch Bistro - MLK Day!     No School Day     SOLD OUT!
Start the day deliciously! In our Brunch Bistro class, Sprouting Chefs will learn essential kitchen skills while creating a trio of flavorful morning favorites. Students will prepare an easy, kid-friendly, Breakfast Casserole layered with eggs layered with eggs, cheese, and savory goodness; bake a tender, cinnamon-swirled Sour Cream Coffee Cake with a sweet crumble topping; and make a refreshing Fresh Fruit Salad with a Honey-Lime Dressing for a bright and colorful finish. A fun and tasty way to celebrate MLK Day in the kitchen!

Comfort in a Cup…well, a Bread Bowl!      2 spots available
​Young chefs will roll up their sleeves to make mini bread bowls completely from scratch while learning the basics of yeast and bread making. As the dough rises, students will chop veggies and prepare a flavorful chicken noodle soup with tender chicken, carrots, celery, and noodles. Macaron Magic SOLD OUT !
​Step into the sweet world of French patisserie as Sprouting Chefs learn the art of making beautiful, rainbow-perfect macarons from scratch. In this enchanting hands-on class, students will discover the magic behind creating smooth, delicate shells and delicious fillings while practicing the key techniques that make macarons so special. Sprouting Chefs will mix, fold, pipe, and bake their own macarons, learning important pastry skills such as precision measuring, proper macaronage, and piping control. Once the shells are ready, students will whip up a flavorful filling and assemble their colorful macaron sandwiches to take home.
Fun, creative, and oh-so-magical, this class offers a kid-friendly introduction to elegant French baking—where every Sprouting Chef becomes a little pastry artist!

In this hands-on baking class, Sprouting Chefs will explore three different styles of bread-making while mastering key baking techniques. The menu features warm, chewy soft yeast pretzels, a moist and chocolaty zucchini-chocolate quick bread, and tender cheesy buttermilk biscuits made with the classic “cut-in butter” method. 
This class introduces the fundamentals of measuring, mixing, kneading, and understanding the difference between yeast breads and quick breads.  It’s the perfect class for budding bakers ready to build confidence and have fun in the kitchen!

Need a break! Your Sprouting Chef becomes the star of the kitchen! In this hands-on cooking class, students will learn how to prepare a complete, delicious dinner from scratch—just like a real chef.  Young cooks will roast an herb-crusted pork tenderloin, bake creamy macaroni and cheese, and make roasted cauliflower “steaks.” Throughout the class, they’ll build essential skills such as knife safety, seasoning, roasting, and plating. Kids leave confident—and proud of the delicious meal they’ve created!
