Saturday, May 3rd from 10 am to 1 pm, for ages 10+
Intro to Sushi So excited to be able to assist Chef Noor in this Sushi making class. With rolling mats and chop sticks provided, you'll be all prepared to try your hand at preparing Sushi Rice, rolling several Nori Rolls as well as Onigiri, traditional Japanese Rice Balls. $75 per child. Sweet & Savory Hand-held Pies - NEW! Mouth-watering, buttery, hand-held pies come with endless options, and in this class we'll prepare three different ones: an Italian Pork Sausage Pie, a Vegetarian Mexican Black Bean & Corn Pie and a Traditional Cinnamon-Apple pie. Best of all, each participant will make their own Puff Pastry Dough. This will be an ambitious undertaking but I'm confident that these Sprouting Chefs can pull it off!! Trio of Breads In this class, you'll learn a lot about different bread-making techniques, and in the process make scrumptious soft pretzels (yeast bread), zucchini-chocolate bread (quick bread) and cheesy buttermilk biscuits (technique of butter cutting).
